These thinks look great. Not too expensive, either. Some of them look like old tranny radios.

I've seen them for a couple of hundred.   I'm sure they're
really, really limited, but just LOOK AT THEM! Super cool
lookin' ass shite!

I judge all music gear on how it looks and these look
mega wicked cool. Can you buy one for me? I'll take the
Raagini digital, please!

They almost look like clever parodies crossed with
something you'd find in a hospital or lab or something.
That's what I like about them.

my lady says her vox teacher has one of them, and they are not very convincing sounding. I have a buddy who jams on the real things, and he does just that....he jams better than ANY machine.

LMAO! You could probably use them for something. If they are a couple of hundred I think they are overpriced. These kinds of boxes used to be a dime a dozen and were only used for practicing instruments when there was no tabla player around, and they were pretty annoying at that. Still in the world of sampling you could probably take the sounds and do something pretty cool with them.

I just liked the look of them. Quirky. Almost a decorative item in a twisted and somewhat tacky way.

It certainly makes me wonder what other weird old drum machines are out there.
