FOR EXAMPLE... OVER AT GEORDYS DANCEHALL SITE.... THE LINK IS TO THIS:
http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/5003/metafile.ra
this causes the ra player to load up the whole file first... before playing... ok...
if you create a file in an editor called "METAFILE.RAM".......put it in the same DIR as the metafile.RA file...
make the metafile.ram file script line look like this... this content ONLY... it should read:
http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/5003/metafile.ra
so it references the METAFILE.RA file
ok... finally... make the hyperlink read:
(without < > brackets as it wont show up here on this page)
a href="http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/5003/metafile.ram"
simple.... then it'll stream in realtime without having to load....
the A href , references the .RAM file when you click... the .RAM file references the .RA file...
simple huh !

Either I am stupid or Tripod is a piece of shit. Hmm, maybe both.
Anyway when I saved the text file(.ram), realaudio just comes up with 'error11, not a realaudio file'. Am I doing something wrong?
It doesnt seem to recognise the file as a text file, rather as something trying really hard to be a realaudio file.
Help!
