Subject: Son Kite Bass Sounds

Anyone knows how to make a non-hearing-only-feeling bassline like son kite has in all their songs?
I've tried this and all the tries sound quite horrible. One thing I have come up with is that the decay on the BassDrum has to be quite low 'coz 2 bass sounds at the same time produce shitty stuff
Anyone has some tips, I would _really_ appriciate it...
