Please i need advice. I need another lead synth . I already got a virus B. But i need another synth with other character. I already have a jp8000 to. But i dont think it does it as a lead synth for me. What synth should i try?

Unison is to prefer. I make trance, alot of staccato leads.

What about the waldorf xt or? Please help me and give me advice.

I have all kinds of gear. If you need clear stacato leads, a digital is best suited. The xt can do some cool sounds, but thy are gritty at times and not so warm. When you get the xt to sound clear it sounds very 80's and thin. It does warmer grity pads nicely. I would recomend a trinity rack, an alesis qs6, or a emu module like the Proteus 2000 for nice trance plucked strings and orchestral sounds, or an orbit for a cheaper alternative. Go to ebay, you can find these all day long for half of what they are at the store. You could demo all of these at a Guitar Center or other main stream store though.

you have a virus and you need something else as your lead synth? are you smoking 'batcrack'?

actually, pick up a nord, they have a nice lead charecter, and are good for those annoy-the-fuck-out-of-your-neighbor-at-three-in-the-morning sounds... i actually have a perfect one for that, if you want i'll sysex it &email it to you...

I must clearify one thing. I get nasty big leads from the virus. but i want nasty big leads from another synth to. not just the virus..
