hey does anyoen actually know how to RECORD yer own arp's ? all the manual does it tell u about it it doesnt exactly say"to record press this button" does it now can someoen help me please

Its not actually in the arp menu, its in Global. scroll up through the menu and it's at the top. I haven't messed with it yet though. It looks like the part buttons double as an 8 step sequencer cause the light on the cascade to the beat when an arp is running.

Can you priogram ARPs as complex as the preset ones?

Yep, no problem....Theres two kinds of arps: Mono & Poly....In mono programming you specify in which order the arp plays the notes you hold in a chord - In poly mode it plays all the notes you hold at once, but you can transpose the notes at each step, thus creating basslines and stuff from holding just one note....Did that make any sense?

There is actually a whole section of
the manual that deals with writing
arp patterns, I think its called "Writing
Arp Patterns"....

Just thought I'd let ya know...

Hey Sub, what's up? I thought the manual was a breeze. I read in a couple of hours. I've had my Nova a week and I've written patterns and used it to completely redo a track that was a little tired. The front panel is so intuitive. All the people who I heard bitching about the sounds shouldn't be writing tracks. I have an arsenal of analog and modeled stuff and this nova kicks ass. mono patches remind me alot of the korg prophecy. I love it. - Brett
