You should consider buying Emagic SoundDiver. It's really worth the money.

From what I´ve heard, Sounddiver doesn´t support The Nova.

There is a librarian adaption for the Nova and the Supernova adaption should work after some small changes, also.

Yeah but $150 for patch saving to my computer? I just want to share some patches with people on the net. There has go to be a free means of doing this WITHOUT pirating.

Yeah, just save sysex into a sequencer....

I use an old korg x3 as my sequencer
and I'm not dure if it does this and it
seems like a lot of extra hassle to do
it this wa

whats the procedure to sysex patch info into cubase vst (pc) do i have to put cubase into record? which menu in the global menu do i use ?

For a single patch:
Global --> Sysex transmission --> Single Program
In Vst choose a midi track with a channel number that is identical with your units global channel.
Make sure that in the Options/Midi-Filter Sysex filtering is deactivated. Set Cubase to record and after the precounter press the midi button of your synth.

What is a librarian or sounddiver? Sorry about my lack of knowledge but i've only just taken an interest in music technology.
