I just noticed that Mig Music have launched some add on patches for Nova/SuperNova - has anyone tried them yet?

where are there decent patches for the nova???

not many people seem to make there own.

i have shite loads of my own but only if you like real trance and dnb.

has anyne heard of banana moon records?

you mean people pay for patches. I've got a ton of trance and dark stuff. Damn, no one wants to create anymore? Your sounds are as much a part of your style as the music it's self. I couldn't percieve shelling out cash for new sounds as long as my brain and ears work. They are always a good starting point, but in the end I always end up changing them drastically. I guess it could be very benificial to the hobbiest or newbie.

Yeah it would be great to hear some new sounds. As phunkytek says, the sounds you use are sometimes unique to your particular style and preference etc. Its always inspiring to hear new sounds so perhaps you could put them up here or even mail them if you dont want them all over the net

Hey Finity, you mention you've got the Mig Music patches. Please comment on them as soon as you feel you can. We'd all like to know the qualtity of them. I myself don't have time to sit around creating my own patches. I spend all my time making music, and I simply don't have time to spend making patches. I usually start with all presets which then get tailored to my needs.
Anyway, I'd love to hear about those patches.

mna do they pay !!!... i dont get it, back in the 80's synth patch companies like Crystal & that sold shitloads of custom patch disks... it was a big industry - but i gues the www put paid to that perhsps

Give me a few more hours and I`ll have something to say about the new patches for you Brian and others.
I like you dont have that much time to create my own sounds and as a result tend not to be any good at it whatsoever when i do try

Just to give you something to think about here is a generalisation of them.

Well...so far I`m not impressed. Some good, some useless and many that are almost identical but phased more or distorted more etc.
I`ll try and be a little more specific later.
