Can I get a ETA on that midi clock divider?If you'll recall I asked you if you could build a device which would divide Midi clock by 1/2 you said no problem.I just got a loan, and was wondering how long it would take to consruct said device?And what would be the price in English pounds is fine. I'll do the math that way if tommorow the nasdaq goes poo I'll still know how much it will cost.thanks

Jez, I am sorry mate, I know I promised to do that and I've done bugger all since. Sorry. I've been pretty tied up, graduating from uni, moving house, getting a job, blah....

Actually I was sitting on the bus earlier today and thought about that device. I'm thinking of going the whole hog and making this little box that has MIDI in and out, SYNC in and out, and it would be able to convert between any of those, with switches to alter the ratio (1/2, 1, 2 etc).

I'm gonna start work on it tomorrow so please fire suggestions at me.

my suggestion is make it quick there are idiots up here who think I'm a hick because I'm stuck in a cowtown.I don't need the sync put that on your steroided 303 clone I can get radio airtime anytime I want mon-thurs and i need that box yesterday.Just keep it simple 1 midi in 1 midi out.I need to promote my music while i have access to the airwaves!Just make it road worthy and I guess make 2 so I have a spare.I've got people on my ass and I want to come correct.Speed and simplicity are the key here.If you bust your ass and get it done I'll not only buy them I'll make you a promo video for your clone when it's ready.You scratch my back I'll scratch yours as the saying goes.I still need to know how much you think it will be?Put it in a plastic project chassis for all I care.I just need that circuit.

maybe a switch to restore it back to 1:1 so that way I don't have to get a midi patchbay and please make it glow in the dark.the switch area that is.

You want the incoming MIDI clock *divided* by 1/2? This means that you want it multiplied by 2. Doubled. OR do you mean you want the clock rate *halved*?

I also found out on a pc you need directx 3.0 or greater.get the latest QT player free from apple's website.
