I have the chance the buy one of these "grooveboxes" second hand.
I can buy only one, can somebody tell which one is the 'best'?

BTW: I want to use in combination with my turntables!(I first thought the 307)

the 505 has a better sound set than the rm1x, but the sequecer on the rm1x it very nice. The 307 is crap and the pitch slider has a big latency problem. It jumps all over. A total bitch to mix with. I had a mc 303 when I stated making tracks fout years ago. I think the mc series is crapp, but my friend has put togethter some fat breaks with a mc 505 and a jp-8000, so I know it can do nice sounds. The 307 is a waste of money.
