The Korg ER-1 looks nice, but did sombody hear the Jomox XBase09?? The have ca. the same price. And a live act at a club yesterday used a Yamaha Drumcomouter - Very thin and sweet HiHAts. I dont know what is the best. But the 808 and the 909 are to expensive.

Novation Drumstation? Now getting pretty cheap s/hand. Of course, no sequencer; it's a rack unit.
