Does anyone know where I could hear some audio samples to compare a SN2 to a SN1? I dont need SN1 samples, ive already got one, but I just want to hear how much the sound engine is improved.

Hi batcrack,

Well, there is a demo on Novation's site but it doesn't really show off the SNII much since it is very short (at least the last time I checked).

I had a chance to check out the SNII keyboard at my dealer the other day. There are some improvements, particularly the new algorithms allowing for FM reproductions and better fx. However, I use my SN 1 to get analog type sounds a-la MKS-80. For that it works great. I don't have the urge to upgrade to the SN2 myself. The SN2 is an improvement but I won't find myself using the improvements that much.

HTH,
fv
