Has anyone had problems recording a sysex dump into vst (3.7)?

I have turned the midi sysex filters off in the midi options section. I know sysex can get through to my computer as another program can display and store sysex dumps with no problem.

apart from that, vst responds normally to other midi input - controller changes and notes on my keyboard.

its a real pain, 'cos the only other way to do this is by using the list editor.

There is no problem with the Nova, only vst.

thanks

ed

Does the Midi In LED in the VST-transport field flash when you send the dump ?

stefan,

No, the midi in indicator does not light when I send the dump. It does however light up when I press a note on my keyboard or move a knob on the Nova.

I know sysex data can get through to my pc because Midi OX can read and save the sysex data from the nova.

thanks for your time

Ed
