i know that specific sounds (ie. leads, bass, etc) can be grouped together for auditioning via the 'find' button.

however, if i had the arpeggiator running on a specific sound and wanted to keep the pattern running with the chord played but CHANGE the sound, i can't.

the sn2 loses the chord. i can scroll through banks of sounds on some of my other synths with their internal arpeggiator running. am i missing somthing or can the sn2 not perform this trick yet?

thanx

fink

not sure, but i'd say that an arpeggiator needs a continuous note to work, so once you break it?.. i guess it isnt retriggering... isnt there an arp LATCH??

yeah, but the latch disengages when the patch is changed.

mmm, maybe i got it wrong and it's simply not possible but my rm1x certainly can do it. there must be a reason, anyone know for sure??
