I traded my old SN to SN2R and i've been using it maybe 3 hours today. Seems like a killer machine, but some serious bugs there too. Most knobs when turned anticlockwise from 000 make the current part disappear totally.. it only comes back alive when i reboot SN. Not even prog change does anything on that part. Especially Q NORM does this. Also a lot of other things make part go dead, like just changing osc from square to saw. 10 minutes was the longest time i could use SN2 without atleast one part going dead. With old supernova i _never_ had to boot it. I wish there'll be a bug fix on the OS soon..

I'm using 1.3 OS btw..

Cheers,
rami aka raymond wave..

Sounds like you've got hardware problems.

My OS 1.3 never behaved like that for me. I'd contact Novation for repair etc if I were you.

After a couple of more hours of testing i've noticed that certain knobs change the part midi channel which caused the part go 'dead'  . I have no idea why for example Q NORM changes part midi channel. Anyone have a clue?

Maybe there's some setting i haven't figured out yet in the midi menu or global menu.
