This is driving me nuts.... all I am trying to do is play to two patchs on an XP30 using cubase at the same time.... ie- C130 and A195.... I've set the MSB, LSB, and program number in cubase under LIST (Ctrl+G).... and I can't get the two to work together..... it may play one patch or another patch that I haven't even entered under LIST. I've heard that I have to put the XP30 in Performance mode but that does nothing.... so do I have to assign each patch to a seperate midi channel?? I can't find out how to do this on the XP30 and its driving me nuts.... any help would be great. thanks

Of course performance mode does something, read the manual.
One sound on MIDI Ch1
The other on MIDI Ch2

Don't use the performances that say LAYER, use the ones with part=1

i spent 3 months reading the manual and trying things out.
This is a cool synth,i still have not memorised lots of stuff, but get into Performance Mode ,Patch mode is just 4 editing one patch at a time.
Performance gives u 16 channels/Patches.
Use a User Performance as u can rewrite these with your own stuff.
I use vst3.7 and i,m getting on ok.
I do have several harder things to figure out;anyone know of any web resources?

Cheers Guru.
