I went to the waldorf site today to get the new soundset for my XT, and what did I see on the main page?? The MicroQ! Its out! with real pics & everything! the specs look badass

all i need to know is how much the micro q will be and that is my christmas present to myself sorted. i think about �900, �300 less than the full rack ie the same price diffence between a micro wave2 and an xt rack. when do they ship?

sorry about that, the file contains the wavetables from the wavestation converted to fit in the 64 cycle xt format.They were diferent lengths or something. There is a read me file with it. I'll find it andd post it. I still havn't loaded them corectly yet.The midi file playes but my microwave makes no changes tyo it's wave tables. It is supposed to reside in the user tables.

re - the knob thing.. waldorf state that this is a feature that's built into the mechanics rather than the software.. a change won't be happening.

I agree, you just can't fast switch to a certain amount.. but then again it aint THAT big a deal when track writing. You just have to get your hands dirty with some editing in the sequencer.

Live use, ok that's another story.

so,i guess its time to start "micro q watch"..if anyone sees one ina shop,let us all know,i hate searchin for gear to have a go on it,only to find its not out..(i still look for a virus rack everytime i go turnkey,but i havent seen one yet..)..the microq might replace it on my xmas list too..
