10 000 Dollars or 7 000 Pounds.

What gear would you buy to make acidtechno.

Monitors, mixer,pc,programs, synths, sampler, effects, drummachines -a whole studio is what I´m talking about so you could produce and master your music yourself.

Ok let me hear your dreams!!!

Yeah, that's a tight ass I'mac, I
personally want some exp. slots
though. How's that UA-30 usb
interface? I was going to get one, but
decided getting a Pulsar and sticking
it onto an old Power Computing 180
instead...

It runs good, but I did have to get a
bumper sticker that says, "honk if
motorola 604e's fall out!!!" He, He!

Plus the Imac is great because it can
get you laid! Girlz love them Imacs!!!

Yah, the girls are out in throngs at the
mac conventions, lemme tell ya.

Sku: While I still hate imacs, you get
a huge hug for switching from a PC
to Mac of any kind. Another has seen
the light. Nah, I just dis on Imacs
because they're so easy to dis on.
And now, with the G4 cube, theres
another tiny little bugger with no
PCI's for almost the same price .
Personally, I'd like a powerbook G3,
but then I too would have to sell my
ass on Castro, and, well, no.

And hey, if you want to trade any of
those pimp programs of your's for
other programs/drugs/sexual
favors/etc., email me.

I hate Macs period, gay as all hell, un-upgradable in most instances, and un-universal.

PC is upgradable in 95% of cases, much more universal, and has more software to offer.

Let's just hope that Linux takes over Microsoft and becomes the new standard.

Don't speak lest you show your
ignorance. Macs are completely
upgradable, they just don't need to
be upgraded as much because
they're actually reliableto begin with.
Universal? Almost all MIDI and
recording software is Mac-native.
And since this site is about music,
and not IT servers and
spreadsheets, thats as univsal as
you can get. And computers don't
have a sexual prefrence, thank you.
Anyway, having used PC's in the past
for music, I'd say your best
punishment for dissing on Mac's is
to let you continue using your PC.

So forget I said anything.

But yes, I'd probably ditch my mac if
linux company's started busting out
with sequncers and such.

"Universal? Almost all MIDI and recording software is Mac-native. And since this site is about music, and not IT servers and spreadsheets, thats as univsal as you can get."

I was actually refering to Macs being used for all computer purposes, not just music. From what I've heard, Macs are a lot better as DEDICATED music machines (ie. sequencers, wave editors). But when it comes down to a full fledged versatile machine, you go with a PC.

"And computers don't have a sexual prefrence, thank you."

Yes they do. Macs are gay, PC's are straight, and Atari's are bisexual.

Yah, for that kind of computer stuff a PC is
better. Luckily that stuff's no fuin anyway.
Mac's just tend to be better at the fun stuff,
like console emulation. My whole machine
is basically a giant sequncer/nintendo=)

Wanna know something funny? A
psychiarist I used to see was one of the
founders of Atari. His brother in law was the
guy who made Pong. Half of our sessions
would be him telling me stories about how in
the seventies everyone in the Atari buiding
smoked pot and got down in the hallways
and took hallucinogens whilst programming
some of the games. Far cry from being a
programmer now I bet. I think he'd agree
that atari's are bisexual too.
