So I've been after the TB sound for a long time, I almost bought TeeBee303 but decided to wait a little as I've heard pepole say the Sid will b the new 303. I dunno but hwo has had the opertunity to tweeak the Sid? does it scream sliding acid lines like a 303? and how is the 303 emulation on sounnd?

The Sidstation can not do a very accurate TB303 simulation, it has a very different sound than the TB303 although the slide works in the same way (it takes the same amount of time to slide between any 2 notes).

As for people saying the Sidstation will be the 303 of the future, well I would agree in that it has a VERY unique sound and will be as exclusive (due to limited production - 400 units max, I own number 63!) The Sidstation, like the 303 is not for everyone, it is quirky and unique, my advice is get both.

BTW I created Preset 18 in the factory presets - check it!

oldskool -- way to use those presets! People around here seem to bash the use of presets...but I guess there'd be no problem for you to use it! I can here it now..."Damn, guys...check out my new song, sporting preset 18...what a great patch, if I do say so myself."
