Thanks Phil and all @ Novation.
OS1.4 ROCKS!

I'm glad I bought British and didn't
contract a nasty Virus(KB)!

OK.... what is Double saw?? If its anything like the JP8000 super saw, then I'll definitely be waiting for it on my Nova II.

Damn.. now i just came to work and i have to wait 8 hours to get to upgrade my SN2R!!   Shouldn't read bb's while at work.

Btw, if anyone's up for 'the fattest trance/dance lead with SN/SN2 -competition", i challenge everyone with one i made with my old SN using 2 parts. The lead can be heard in a song called "Misunderstanding (Raymond Wave Remix) at www.mp3.com/raymondwave. The lead starts at around 1:30. Only external processing is compression and reverb with Yamaha 01v.

Sorry for the kindofa plug but i think it'd be fun to discuss if anyone's got themselves a competitive lead  .

Cheers,
rami aka raymond.

ps. Can't wait to try if i can now make the same lead with one part only using the double saw  ..

Yeah Rami,
The new double saw can make your trance lead sound phat as phuck!
Maybe a little too heavy though.

The sound you've got @ the moment is
excellent. Fits the track well.

BTW - I'm up for that challenge!
Fancy swaps also?
Gavi B.

Yeah, i suppose i'm up for swaps  . Let's hear what you got  .

The same lead instrument is used in 2 other songs too. "Welcome to berlin Remix" and "Infinity". With slightly different setups. But it sounds especially fat in "Misunderstanding" since there are a couple of notes playin at the sametime on each chord.

Gonna install the new OS now and see what the new double saw can do..

I listened to "Misunderstanding" Rami. Great song/production but if you consider that a fat lead, you really should check out a Roland JP8080. I thought my supernova was great for leads until I got a JP8080. Believe me. I´ve seen the light. Keep up the good work.
