The nova does not have expression afaik.

Which is really retarded if you ask me. I mean, why mess with the industry-standard controller numbers when you have plenty unused CC numbers and NPRN's available? I love using CC7 (volume) to set the maximum level for a track and then CC11 for dynamics, but I can't do that with a Nova... bummer...

yeah. i know, it's really stupid..

it's very irritating when you accidentaly use cc11 as expression anyway by misktake and your patch sounds way too detuned after that..

Well, I'd rather have controller #'s for
everything I could ever want to
access regularily than SysEx for
everything like a crappy Mc303 or
EA-1. That's infuriating - using SysEx
for cutoff and resonance!!!

I think they had to break from the
industry standard because in some
cases each LFO has it's own
freq./filters and sprinkling all the extra
amongst the standards would
probably be too illogical in the end.
