I thought we should present our requests for the new os formally. This way, feasability can be determined and responded to in a centralized thread. To start his list,
1) i would like to see a multiband eq section capable of cutting that can also be inserted into the vocoder. And
2) more powerful flange and phasing fx.

If possible, when you turn a knob on
the envelope section a 1 character
horizontal line could appear on the
display to represent the envelope.

Sorry, didn't turn out right. Think like
the band spectrum analizer on the
vocoder. Wouldn't be impossible to
implement.
Another thing that Phill said is very
likely is (for the Nova particularly) in
program mode the part buttons will
double as a mini trigger so you don't
have to lug a 30lb controller with you
if you want to go somewhere an
program a bit.

I'd like to have dual filters (serial and parrallel), special oscillators with other controls like FM or maybe wavesequences or morphing between saw and pulse. The effects must be improved (phaser, chorus and eq)
If you can light up, and then edit, all three osc at the same time, it could be even more useful

1. Add note velocity as a mod source

2. Add finer detune for osc freq (1 cent increments too course)

3. Add user defined voice allocation for poly performance parts

4. Add a "single LFO" mode for poly programs so the selected LFO stays in phase for all notes sounding (like most analog synths which have one LFO to mod osc pitch for vibrato)

When tweeking the effects levels via the fast data knobs and the filter knobs at the same time, the fast data knobs go from fx to filter instead of staying associated with the effects parameter you were tweaking. I want to be able to tweak the eq and the filter Frequency at the same time.
