I am having a problem getting a good ammount of distortion from the effect. any tips?

also, I wish novation would include more types of distortion

Turn osc's up to 127 level.

Turn Filter overdrive to max.

This gets more drive/ Therefore more grunge..

Also, if your program has a high filter resonance setting, you should check the "Q NORM" setting on one of the filter menu pages. Normally, the filter output level will drop as the resonance is increased. The "Q NORM" setting can restore the filter output level and give more drive for the distortion.

The distortion is still a bit weak. It�s good enough for tb303-type things, but it does not have enough drive according to my taste. I prefer the distortion on my an1x.

We could use more parameters for the distortion as well, but i guess there is not enough memory left for adding too many new things. (i would gladly sacrifice half of the performances for more features, but i guess it isn�t the same memory as the software is in, and it would require quite some work i guess.)

yeah, i need a good nasty crunch. The distortion (with everything turned to max as mentioned) only sounds like an enhancer to my ears?!? My AN1X kills the nova for FX... how abouts an Autowah-Distortion/Compression option? is it feasible? It'd sell shed-loads more ya know.

ya know... the AN1X has an Aphex Aural Exciter built in. Never use it though. I prefer my SPL. aPhex suck tWin rIchard.
