having a hard time getting things working. i'm using an sblive value (no digital connection) just for the midi and a dio2448 for the analog outs and ditigal connection. i'm currently using the ASIO DirectXfull duplex driver 'cause i don't know what else to use, but the latency is brutal and vst intruments choke and sputter. i can't sync external midi to any vst instruments (reaktor). The midiman site suggests using a DIO_WDM.exe driver for ASIO, which i can't find anywhere. My midi samples also never consistently play right. Is my sblive just crap? Do i need different ASIO drivers? should i scrap using both cards and get a single card with midi & digital in/out? i've got a PIII with lots of ram. any thoughts would be appreciated!
