i think my current mobo is a bit fouled up so i'm gonna get a new one and a new cpu. i don't want to spend more than �60 for the mobo and about the same for the amd cpu. any sugestions for a solid music mobo in htis price range?

do you read other threads at ALL? sorry, but we've done this SO many times:

many of us are diggin the Epox 8kha+. good specs, 266a chipset, nuff ram and pci slots, etc

bout $100 US?

I think I popped an athlon 1700+ in mine. plenty fast for me. go as high as you can afford.

1700+ here, influx has also got one etc... definitely plenty fast. but if you can get a faster one, then why not...

hell, kilo should build a ton of epox/1700+ pc�s and sell them as official DT-approved music machines
