My new M-Audio Delta Audiophile 2496 refuses to cooperate with my Logic audio 4.11! I run a 266 Mhz Pentium II PC with 128 megs of ram. I didnt exactly expect to be able to run thousands of audio tracks but now even simple audio playback in Logic doesnt work! When i open and try to play a sample in the sample editor, several pops and clicks occur even when opening and playing short (=a few seconds long) samples.

I higly suspect that there is something wrong with the Logic settings, since audio recording and playback works flawlessly in for instance Wavelab. Any help would be appreciated. Im kind of desperate...

thanks in advance

why are yopu using such an old version of Logic?.. you need V4.5 or 4.7 which has a re-written audio engine.

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
