I am after a good audio card to use with logic 4.7. I keep getting a message in Logic that says my audio device can not process the audio information on time.

My current setup is as follows:
800mhz PC running Logic Audio 4.7, Win98, 384mb RAM, Sound Blaster 128, Roland JP8000, Proteus2000.

I am thinking about upgrading my audio card to a Marian Marc4 MIDI or an AudioWerk8 or something within that price range. What I am after is a card that can cope with four physical audio I/O's and up to 40 odd audio tracks in Logic.

Any advice is invaluable!

the midiman delta range are very highly rated and should cope no problem. The aw8 might be a good choice also seeing as you`re already using emagic sw though.
