I have a copy of cakewalk 9 and no manual. could someone tell me how to get a groove quantize template from a drum loop?

I don't have Cake in front of me but select the audio clip you want to use and then look for "extract timing". Might be under the edit menu or try right clicking on the audio clip and see if it's there.
