for some reason, when I use the amazing orange vocoder in VST 32/5 by using it as an FX insert in the EQ section, my audio sequence starts stuttering bigtime...it runs smooth with all the other FX plug-ins, just this one...I've got 64mb of RAM do I need more...at the moment I'm sequencing up to 18 audio tracks....

Cubase VST 32/5 kicks arse bigtime by the way...the timing is rock solid..just thought I'd add that...

I take it 128MB should be the minimum if I'm recording over 12 tracks of audio and using a lot of plug's on each tune?
