Ive found GetDataBack (and its only 69$) to be exceptional for recovering data from formatted and lost-partition drives, very recently in fact. My 40 gig partition has been formatted 3 times in the last two months, and i still found my old `lost` sample library (near-complete) deleted accidentally before the first re-format. You`d be surprised how much data is still `really` on your hard drive after mishaps or total brain-dead decisions and lots of time and data swapping.
