Hey y'all-

Anybody know how to route a s/w synth output (on the same puter as logic) to the audio tracks in Logic? Do you have to use Rewire? or is Rewire only for s/w that don't have midi out? Sorry if I don't make sense cuz i'm new and this is one of a few hurdles I need to iron out. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Also, is there any way to route the output from SoundManager to the audio tracks in logic? im using a G3

Thanks
druid

you need to set an audio track in the arrange window to 'audio instrument 1' or whatever, then double click on the track name to bring up the mixer and then slot in the instrument into the audio instrument 1 channel. Doesn`t matter if its native logic or vsti.

Thanks man. Hadn't gotten to the part about audio instruments. So, if I have a stand-alone s/w synth- should I only need to use the 'bounce' operation to record to audio?
Thanks!
