i have my multi instrument set with 2 subchannels, 1 and 2. The two channels are for my multitimberal synth. How can i get the gm mixer to recognize each sub channel?

Should i even have my synth set up like this? or should i have two single instruments for each channel i want each part of the synth on?

GOD MAKE LOGIC EASY!!!

thanks!

peace,
mike

in the GM mixer select the GM 'Multi-Instrument' for as many mixer channels as you need and assign the midi channel on the mixer strips, this'll route to whichever patch the multi-instrument is assigned too on the arrange section track-headers. (answer without looking at logic, if that doesnt work i'll have to take another look cos i dont do any GM with logic)

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

some guys on irc said it would probably be easier if i were to use seperate single instruments for each......to me, it made things a little simpler, so i think i'm gonna stick with that...

thanks k, you are my god,

peace,
