I went through your tutorial for live monitoring (many thanks for that). One question though...Is there a way to monitor with fx WHILE recording a dry signal?

good question, and it seems perhaps not... all the major sequencer s/w at the moment do NOT fully sort this out 100% - asio2 has direct monitoring which allows the audio to pass thru the system back to the output with nil latency for monitoring via a hardware mixer with fx type setup - I'll look into it more and do some more experiments to see what i can come up with....

ok it's sorted... there is a work-around - see the other thread, or the last paragraphs of the article: 'LOGIC - input monitoring'
