ok-I'm trying to add an audio file to a track in Logic. the manual says to open it up in the audio window, which I did, then dragging the region or whatever into the window... i can't get it to open up in the track in the arrange window... can anyone help?

you dont drag the actual file image/region you drag the icon tablet on the left panel. (see image)

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

thanks--i did that, and i got a picture like yours.. but when i close the audio window and return to the arrange window, the file still doesn't show up... how do i get it to show up in the arrange window?

when you are in the arrange window, go to the menu AUDIO, choose the audio window (CTRL+9) and then drag from the window onto the arrange to the track... you need them both open to drag from one to the other
