Hello Logic peeps, I am a cubase user that has run into a problem. Cubase has a mixer that you can automate mutes in it and also allows you to assign compression for channel in there as well. Whenever i mute the channel assigned to compression i get a horrible CLICK! My question is a. can do all of the above in Logic and B. do you get clicks also when muting channels assigned to compression? I have a lexicon core 2 sound card, i know, not the best but funds, ya dig!

before even thinking about it, go to the above link, click the 'audio hardware compatability chart' and see if your card's there. if it's not, forget it.

When you say "channels assigned to compression" you mean as an insert , right? When I mute or unmute a compressed channel in logic it doesn't click but I can't say if your system will be the same. I'm using a wami rack.

I switched from VST to Logic a couple of years ago and I have to say that switching is a major task. I would think very very carefully. I would only recomend using audio cards with logic that have emagic's EASI drivers. ASIO can be very problematic.

I don't understand your comment on the Lexicon Core card, if you can get it working it's a very good card.
