in reason, when using the drum machine in step mode it doesn't write any midi data. it just keeps the data in the drum machine.

i find mapping drums like this best but i also want to transfer the midi data into cubase sx to incorporate into tracks. but is it actually registered as midi data anywhere in reason?

i can transfer a song midi file from reason but as i'm not using the reason sequencer (just the drum machine itself) no midi data is noted anywhere.

any suggestions??

i´m not a Reason user, but have you tried that little button that says "to track" yet?

hey there,

Right-click on the redrum and you will find an option to transfer your step-pattern to sequencer-track and the job is done, ready to playback or import into cubase.
