I need to copy the arrangement from one track into another so I can use it's mix, dunno what I did wrong with that track but it just aint as good as the test I did. bloody annoying it is. Tried to copy it but it hasn't worked  

help.

you mean to import an arrangement into an open cubase song??...

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

Yeah that's it, I have two tracks, the first one has no arrangement but a more squelchy mix, the second has an arrangement but I did something to make it more flat sounding.

I think I messed with the settings on the mastering end and also cutting bass from the main groove but putting it back hasn't worked.

Not really that bothered now as I'm going to do a complete new arrangement using the original mix and see where it goes, but it'd be usefull to know if you know how to do it.

wouldnt you just import the audio from the other arrangement? are we talking cubase? import the audio then import the .arr setup?

do OPEN - choose type: ARRANGEMENT (*.arr) then it asks if you want to merge the arrangement into the current song - answer yes, and you can copy tracks/parts from one arrangement to another.
