i've got VST5 and a Delta 44 on a pc (pentium 1.5ghz, 512 SDRAM, 60 gig\7200 partitioned drive, windows ME) how many tracks should i be able to run.
i'm getting confused in some of the set up info it says i've got 8 tracks is this right
How many tracks (with audio occurring at the same time) can i use on an audio channel?

you would only want to put one track on each channel. Your system should run a LOT of tracks. 64 or more easy, depending on processing

yes in the audio system - all that means is how many audio tracks default to appear in the mixer.

and in that context, audio TRACKS means physical mixer channels too - one physicalo channel for one 'lane' of recorded data...
