i'm having trouble finding out where to modify to piano roll grid graphics.

Its fustrating when the grid only denotes 1/4 notes, is it possible to get to 1/16s in order to sequence drums is a similar format to typical 16 step sequencers (fruity etc.)

Any help would be appreciated to help me along the curve.

peace

that controls the snap properties but doesn't edit the grid layout as far as i can tell.

the only option seems to be setting the measure to 16/16

oh yes i see, yes, 16th's seems to be the grids lowest res' which is onne thing in SONAR/CAKE i personaly also find to be a pain & one thing I have myself argued with them on the NG for changing.

its annoying, esp. with drum programming.

its good to know about 16/16 measure change, cos its ok jumping into that with drum edits, if you're working in 4/4 originally.

though it does seem like a pretty significant missing piece.

You get used to it pretty quickly. I set the snap and then use the tool to set the length of the note to 32nd or 64th. Then I drag copies of it to sequece. With audio editing, Sonar rocks, I type in tics 40,60,80, and slice and drag to do some cool stutter and electro effects. Then highlight and bounce the edit to a new clip.
