i just started using Sonar, and i have an audio clip i want to edit in wavelab. i select the clip and go tools-Wavelab, Wavelab opens with my file open in it but i get the Wavelab "Playback could not start successfully. This can be caused by one of the following reasons:......"

how do i get Sonar and Wavelab to share my sound card (Gina24-win98). idon'4mean playing simultaneously, but so i can go back and forth between programs.

the messed up thing is that i just did this 5 minutes ago and and i could switch between both open programs playing the audio.

thanks
Vinny

I love happy endings. Glad it worked out.

I had the same question. Cubase has that play in background thing, but I just thought Sonar wouldn't play that game. Where is this multi-client option? in the mutli-media options.

For my setup (Gina24 and Win98) I went into the soundcard properties in the Windows device manager.

Hope that helps,
Vinny
