It says in the manual that the ESM resembles a well known dance/techno synth. Just out of interest, does anyone know which one? Juno 106?

the esm is monophonic so i dont think juno 106, maybe they mean a 303 or moog, i dont know.

well lets think about it: single oscilator which can be saw or square, steep lo-pass filter, single attack/decay evelope with variable decay, which affects flter as well as volume, permament glide mode for overlaping notes... and even the synth is a silver metalic collour!

hmm... what can it be?

*hint* its small, its silver, and it makes squelchy noises!

it's got a load of presets titled with 'moog' in the name tho too doesn't it?

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

what i want to know is when they say 'resembles a well known dance/techno synth,' why you seem to think that indicates they mean a specific one.
