Hello to the good folk of Dancetech.

Just wanted to share some big news with you (well, for me anyway).. After surprising the girlfriend with a week in Barcelona last week, I did the mad thing and proposed!

I'm happy to report that with the aid of a large lump of precious metal and sparkly rock, she has agreed to be my bride! Not getting hitched until next year but that's another story entirely..

Dunno yet. But some of my mates were already mooting doing something in Vegas (what is it with guys and escalating stag do's?)

Personally.. Blackpool could be a laugh

I lived there (Bournemouth) for a few years and Charminster was a major multi cultural experience - something to do with English language schools and a forever procession of foreign birds.

Interesting tho that the high % of retired people really did (8 years ago) make the clubs close at 1am, but this meant that you could save yourself the bother with the cheesy club and just arrive there at chucking out time and walk yourself into one of the many house parties. Cool place - no idea what its like now - prolly just the same

Amsterdam would make a fantastic place for a stag

The 'dam is a good place, but its been saturated with Stag parties now...

Missus nearly lost the ring the other day... sheesh, women.. should never have told her I'd insured it!

what! - man, sorry to hear that dude

yes true, the dam is over-'stagged' - it's becoming a bit of cliche

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
