I'm after something that has the 303 idea, it doesn't have to sound exactly like
the tb-303 but has the same controls and built in keyboard. something that doesn't cost much ie cost no more than $400US any suggestions?

thanks.

only one with keyboard I can think of is the old basstation.... very good little synth....... good value for a tb clone is daniel schutens TBS units.... he builds them to order ...... (synth section)......

What about the korg prophecy? does some great
303 type acid lines and it's a good price too.It 's aboiut
Ģ400 which may be out of your price range but could
be worth a look.
Really though,if you want a 303 sound with the same
controls then the rebirth is your man unless it HAS to
be genuine analogue(though rebirth comes closer than
most analogue clones)..

for 303 sound the best is obviously a TB303 but the chances of anyone getting there hands on one of those is about 1/million so your next cheapest bet is Rebirth 338??? you can get that for about $200 CND or just get it free (pirated). but there is another solution... TeeBee??? Just search for "TeeBee" or "Tee Bee" I can't remember what it's called but that search will get it for you...
Best of luck with you search...
Bye!

YEAH!...Rebirth is the best, but wait, you donīt want
only a 303ish machine! buy a Prophecy, boy, and you get those
awesome 303 lines PLUS an amazing MIDI controller,
MINIMOOG clone, cool arpeggiator, great control,
and really DEEP programing features. This machine is
like a little modular synth, a MONSTER of synthesis!
You have 6 EGs, 4 LFOs, 2 OSC + SUB, 2 MULTIMODE
FILTERS, NOISE GENERATOR WITH ITS OWN LPF,
GREAT FX WITH CONTROL OF PARAMETERS BY THE
SYNTHESIS ENGINE AND MUCH, MUCH MORE!!!!
ALSO, IF YOU KNOW WHAT, YOU CAN PROGRAM
AMAZING ANALOGISH DRUMS WITH SUPERB
CONTROL!!!..FRESH FOOD FOR YOUR SAMPLER!!!

aha...but you're all missing one of the best....... the TBS-303...... check it out in the synth section..... (although that Tee-Bee is also the nutz).... but check out that tbs unit.... made to order the guy (Daniel) uses the same tb curcuit boards and filters....... and it comes in a loverly tabletop unit....even has wooden end-cheeks....laverly !!....yes.....it's also midi.... and dont forget Rubberduck for a cheaper s/w clone....excellent

Rebirth RB 338 is about to get rid of almost every drawback to their program!!!!! Especially if you are a cubase user.Go to the propellerheads site and check it out. I am a user, but not a crazed supporter. With this 2.0
upgrade I just might get CrAzEd!!!!!!

Peace DIGS
