I want to bye a good sampler but I am not to rich.
Is the sampler on any soundcard as good as a "real" sampler, like, to example, akai-s2000.
I have been thinking of the MAXI HOME STUDIO card, is that good sample card?

I am thinking of this card as well. There are others like
the Avm Apex or the Terratec EWS S or XL and the Ensoniq PCIaudio or whatever. But the none of these cards seem to have a stable/good instrument editor yet. So we can wait or get something that works now. Also does the game theatre card by Gi have an editor and sample ram?

thanx
