I've got an AWE64(eek), and I do find it quite noisy, however I think most of the noise is coming from the rest of the computer, ie when I turn it up full volume on my mixer, it makes funny noises when things load etc...
I've got the card as far away from anything else as I can, but I was wondering if something like an antistatic bag covering the board might do some good too??? Any other suggestions(and I can't afford a new card!) ?
