I'm looking for a card with sample ram and decent recording abilities
but I can't find any 'real world' tests of cards like AVM Apex , Terratec
EWS64 s (or XL) maxi sound HSpro64 etc. I'd love to know how these
compare. The AWE gold claims a s/n ratio of 91db but the tests I've read
about never manage anything above about 65db. The ensoniq pci has
a proven s/n ratio of 75db and all the subjective listening tests seem to
sing it's praises. So..... A full duplex card with Simm upgradable sample
ram , easy installation and at least the recording performance of the ensoniq.
Any offers? The sound card tests I have found are at a site run by a mister
Arny Kruger. He has tested TB Fiji, Event Gina, Ensoniq PCI and others
(but none with sample ram (except SBawe64gold)). I'll post the address if I
find it again.

the terratec seems to give good figures on one pair of it's recording inputs... they promised me a card top test, but right now, i'm too busy building new dancetech, and a few other jobs.... sorry....
