Hi peeps, I have a fairly straightforward question that may have been covered before but....

I have a crappy AWE64 (value shitty model)... and I want to load a couple of samples into it, trigger them via MIDI (sequencer) and record the output to my HD with a sampling app.

Question is if I do this, will my AWE be playing/recording in 8 bit because its not fully full duplex? That would suck a lot. Please tell me it ain't so or there's a way around it

If you can manage to squeeze the samples into the paltry 512K of the card - should be full quality. Just the same as using a Soundfont. Just try it - sounds fine to me.
