If I have a GS soundset loaded into set manager in the first slot and a user set in the second, what's the easiest way to use them in VST?

On my old AWE32 you could use bank to view and change soundfonts and patch to view and change instruments. Is this possible with the EWS or do I have to get my calculator out and use prog numbers?

Yep, you have to use the programme numbers. What I've done is to put the user sounds on late bank numbers so all original sounds are still accesible.
