since the dsp factory card has unbalanced inputs, can i do some mixing on my promix(balanced) then send the digital output from the promix to the digital input of the dsp factory(o2r) card. then mix the promix stereo digital signal with the dsp factory signals on the master mix down to dat ?

oh yes but the promix only samples at 48k so i would have to run dsp factory at 48k. but if i mix down to dat at 48k will i have to buy an external sample rate converter befor i enter the dat recorder?
