What kind of a budget?? how much do you have to spend??
If you check out that awfully long APS thread you`d see that the Yamaha dsp factory is the choice
priced about �500...cheap for what you get. If that`s too much, I`d go for the Gina card.
DOn`t go for a synth on your card. Get Generator,reality,gigasampler or somthing instead.
They are all for free on the net if you know where to look.

I'm selling a new (1 month old) LAYLA for $700 plus shipping. Although is not the cheapest, it's a great deal for the money.

I'm using it with cakewalk 7.0 and results are just great. I want to sell it because i got a yamaha O3D mix and I need an ADAT I/O. LAYLA has SPDIF
