Just collecting opinions from the group... on the Roland UA-100 USB Audio Canvas. For those who have not heard of it, it is Audio + MIDI + effects in an external box with USB to computer. Edirol sells it for $389.
It sems like it would be great for studio and for live performances (USB laptop!) Does USB chug on the CPU hardcore though? If anyone has opinions... please share.. thanks.
